Hi Ed @edgriffen, structure 5 is likely to exist predominantly as keto tautomer. From the data that I’ve seen, it is the 6-methoxyisoquinoline that is isopotent with the parent isoquinoline. Aza-substitution of the isoquinoline always appears to result in loss of potency.
